What's New
When your feed has no transcript, PodView can write one for you and publish it on the episode page, timestamped: click any line to play from there. Transcribe one episode at a time, or turn on automatic transcripts for every new episode. Creator includes 8 episodes a month, Producer 25.
Open an episode and click Generate with AI. PodView reads its show notes and fills in key takeaways and FAQs for you to review, edit and save. It works on your back catalog too, not just new episodes. Available on Creator and Producer.
If your feed carries a podroll (the Podcasting 2.0 tag your host may already support), the shows you recommend can now appear as cards on your homepage, with artwork and a link to each one. Switch on Podroll under Control Panel → General → Features → Homepage sections. It reads straight from your feed, so update the list in your host and your site follows.
Share the work without sharing a password. On Producer, invite colleagues from Control Panel → Team as admins, editors, or read-only viewers. Your plan includes 10 seats per podcast, including you. Manage roles, revoke invitations, and remove access from the same page.
Writing show notes, a recap, or a landing page? Paste an episode link on a line of its own and it becomes a real player right there — artwork, title, play button — so readers listen without leaving the page. In the page builder there is an Episode block that does the same. Quoting one moment? Add a start time (12:30) and the player opens exactly there.
Prefer the player your listeners already know? Choose Your podcast host’s player under Control Panel → General → Player. We read the right embed straight from your feed, on every episode, with nothing to copy or paste. Works with Spotify for Creators, Buzzsprout, Acast, Megaphone, Libsyn, Spreaker, Simplecast, RSS.com, Captivate, Transistor, iVoox, Ausha, SoundCloud and hearthis.at. The PodView player is still the default, and still the one with chapters, transcripts, and playback that follows listeners between pages.
Read it out at the end of an episode: yoursite.com/rate. It sends listeners straight to the platforms where a review counts, and opens Apple Podcasts on the review screen rather than the show page. Switch it on in Control Panel → General → Features.
Your show description no longer has to do two jobs at once. Write a line or two that lands in your homepage hero, and keep the long version — the one your feed carries — on your About page. Both live in Control Panel → General → Content, and either can follow your RSS feed if you’d rather not write anything.
Open Episodes → Tags and hit Generate with AI. PodView reads your episodes, works out the handful of themes your show actually returns to, and proposes a tag for each — then shows you exactly which episodes land where before anything goes live. Edit the names, drop the ones you don’t want, uncheck any episode that doesn’t fit, and apply. Tags you made yourself are never touched. Available on Creator and above.
Turn on Keep playing while browsing in General Settings → Player and the episode a visitor started stays playing in a sticky bar while they explore the rest of your site. No restart, no lost place. Available on every paid plan with the Enhanced player.
Open Custom CSS in the theme editor and hit Copy AI instructions — you’ll get a brief describing your site’s colors, fonts, player and episode cards. Paste it into ChatGPT or Claude, describe the look you want, and drop the CSS it writes straight back in.
Each episode can now carry its own search description — the line Google and social apps show under your link. Write it yourself, or let AI draft one for every episode at once. Your show notes stay exactly as they are.
Your dashboard now shows a short setup checklist: publish an episode, add your logo and favicon, connect a domain, link your platforms — with a one-tap link to each.
Drop a Custom HTML block onto any page and upload an HTML file or paste a snippet — perfect for an LLM-generated widget.
No podcast RSS feed? No problem. Paste a YouTube channel, playlist, or @handle and PodView imports your whole catalog and builds your site. Great for video-first creators.
The new Embed block lets you paste any URL — a Tally or Typeform, a Cal.com scheduler, a YouTube video — and drop it onto a page as a sandboxed embed.
Episodes with a video stream now play right on your site, alongside audio. Going video? It’s included on every plan.
Sites can now display in your audience’s language, starting with German. Your episode content, navigation, and UI adapt automatically.
