Affiliate program terms.

You earn 30% of every payment a referred customer makes to PodView during their first 12 months as a paying customer. This covers subscription payments: the initial charge, renewals, plan upgrades and additional-podcast charges.

Commission is not paid on charges that are not PodView subscription revenue. Domain registrations and domain renewals are billed through us at close to cost and are excluded.

Tax, where we are required to charge it, is excluded from the commission base.

Click to signup: 60 days. A visitor who clicks your link is attributed to you for 60 days. If they create an account in that period, your referral is attached to their account.

Signup to first payment: 3 months. PodView has a free plan, so a referred account may not pay for a long time. Once your referral is attached at signup, it still converts when that account first pays, for up to 3 months from the date the account was created. An account that first pays after that period earns no commission.

These windows govern conversion, not the commission period in section 2, which runs from the customer's first payment.

Coupon redemptions are attributed separately: a customer who redeems your personal code at checkout is attributed to you at that moment, whether or not either window above applies.

Where two affiliates could claim the same customer, the most recent attribution wins. Attribution requires cookies to be permitted by the visitor's browser and consent choices; a visitor who declines tracking cannot be attributed by link, which is what the coupon code is for.

Commission is held pending for 30 days after the underlying payment, matching our refund exposure, and becomes payable after that.

We pay by PayPal only. Payouts run monthly, covering all commission that has cleared the pending period, once your balance is at least $50. A balance below that carries forward to the next month rather than being paid in fragments. You need a PayPal account that can receive payments in your country; if you cannot receive PayPal, we cannot enrol you.

Any PayPal transaction or currency-conversion fee is deducted from the payout. We pay the commission; we do not additionally cover the cost of moving it to you.

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent or partner of PodView. You are responsible for your own taxes. At enrolment you must supply a completed W-9 (if you are a US person) or W-8BEN / W-8BEN-E (if you are not), and keep it current. We cannot pay an affiliate whose tax or payout details are missing or stale, and a balance can be held indefinitely on that basis.

The following end participation and forfeit unpaid commission:

• Self-referral — using your own link or code for your own account, or for an account you control
• Bidding on PodView brand terms, or close variants, in paid search
• Listing your code on coupon-aggregator or deal sites
• Misrepresenting what PodView does, its pricing, or its plan limits
• Claiming to be PodView, or to speak for it
• Unsolicited bulk email, comment spam, or automated traffic
• Registering domains containing our brand name
• Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, or any attribution not caused by a genuine reader decision

Disclose the relationship wherever you publish. In several jurisdictions this is a legal requirement, not a courtesy.

Either side may end participation at any time. On termination your links and codes stop attributing new customers. Commission already earned and not forfeited under section 6 remains payable.

We may change these terms, including the commission rate and the windows. Changes apply to customers attributed after the change; they do not retroactively alter commission already earned. We will publish the updated date at the top of this page.
